Cranberry Pork Recipe
If you love cranberry sauce and would like to see more than once a year on Thanksgiving Day, then this Cranberry Pork recipe is for you!
You can use your favorite type - either jelly (I love the jelly type!) or whole berry cranberry.
You can also substitute turkey breast for the pork roast - no need to wait till Thanksgiving to have turkey!

Cranberry Pork Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 lb pork roast
- 1 can (16-oz.) jellied cranberry sauce (or whole berry)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice (I use CranGrape)
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- salt for seasoning
DIRECTIONS:
- Lightly season pork with some salt.
- Place pork loin roast in slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, mash cranberry sauce.
- Stir in sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, and cloves and mix well.
- Pour over roast.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours or until pork roast is tender.
- Thicken with cornstarch dissolved in water if desired.
