Easy Pepper Steak Recipe

There are many versions of Pepper Steaks and this is one of the easier ones. This is a colorful dish with tomatoes, green and yellow bell peppers.

You could substitute the bell peppers and onion with frozen stir-fry vegetables if you like. We just prefer to use fresh vegetables when we can.

Easy Pepper Steak



  1. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown meat in the slow cooker pot or large skillet on both sides in hot oil.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. In a medium bowl, stir together undrained stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Pour over meat.
  6. Add onion and bell peppers.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.
